Giardino di Boboli

Areli and I bought our 10 Euro ticket to visit the Giardino Boboli. This garden lies behind Palazzo Pitti, belonging to the Medici great dukes of Tuscany. It is one of Italy's first and famous gardens from the 1500s.

I climbed these slanted stairs in flip-flops. Not a good idea!Palace Pitti

One of the garden's several fountains.

Climbing up more stairs...

To the top!

This garden is like a maze! You can take different paths... We took the one with the view of Florence.

The Bacchino.

An amphitheater from the Mannerists time.

Back to the palace.

Huge lips outside the palace!
